Molly Bloom

Stiffening in the winter

A chunk of finger taken off as an icycle

Slowly unthawed life

A garden edged by brick, nothing planted.

I loved all of hers

The Astral Weeks spring

Until she was no longer a singular person

But visage of spring.

Creeping thru the laundry

Bicycling along the graffiti wall

Queer, cold, early spring

Where my a makes me want to die of happiness

I read poems at river themed house parties

And rise at three AM

And there is desire like the desire to be alone

And touch oneself.
